  Massage Therapy

Many people in today’s busy society allow themselves to be weighted down with stress. This extra tension can lead to not only mental exhaustion, but physical pain and ailments.

Massage Types
Our licensed and nationally certified massage therapist has been trained in various massage techniques, in order to help you achieve a serene state of relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage:
Directed toward the deep tissue structures of muscle and tissue. The aim is to affect the various layers of fascia that support muscle tissues and loosen bonds between layers of connective tissue. Both physical and psychological release of tension can be facilitated.
Swedish Massage:
Traditional Western concepts of anatomy and physiology are utilized in this form of body work. Improvement of circulation, nervous system function, lymph flow, and the benefit of stress reduction and relaxation are seen following this type of massage. It uses movements that can be slow and gentle or vigorous and bracing, depending on the desired result.
Healing Touch:
An energy based therapeutic approach to healing. This type of massage uses touch to influence the energy system, therefore affecting physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health healing.
Ortho Bionomy:
This body work technique teaches structured understanding of the body to help break cycles of pain. Ortho Bionomy helps by correcting structural and somatic dysfunction and to release stress.
Prenatal Massage:
In normal, healthy pregnancies, massage has been proven to be beneficial to both mother and the unborn child. Properly applied massage can aid in relation, benefit circulation, and soothe nerves.
Golf Massage:
This focus on the primary muscle groups and areas of the body usually used in the game of golf. This helps to reduce the risk of injury by stretching muscles, which are often tight and restrict an even and constant swing.
